Comicbook Pages/Art
These pages are part of several comicbook series I am currently developing. The Henchmen material is the most current of the comic-related stuff I created. Almost all of the stories are unfinished and in developmental stages, but The Archie story at the bottom of this page is a complete 4 page comic book I wrote, drew, colored and lettered.
| The Henchmen Visit the underworld where henchmen, thugs, supervillians and other goons get together to discuss work and have a few beers! Chuck Carson created the art and I (Ray Rodriguez) wrote it. Please click below to read some very short stories I wrote. If you like The Tick, you should like this: 1.Henchmen 3. The Apostles In the near future, time travel became possible. A group of scientists and clergy went on the first mission back to the time of Christ and witnessed his miracles! This caused the mass conversion of almost every human on Earth to Christianity! Now, they travel through time telling of God's truth! One apostle strays from the path and wreaks havoc! It's a long story, but check out the first 4 pages!

Jinks These are the funny misadventures of a super-hero named Jinks! His power, or curse, is to create bad bad luck upon those around him! Regardless, he has come to terms with his abilities and has a great sense of humor. This is a 4 page intro I made back in 1993. These are roughs, but you should be able to follow the story along. |

These are a couple of other things I worked on. One was a take of "The Days of Future Past" X-Men storyline. The other cover is for a conic featuring a battle between Marvel & D.C. Comics. |

The Kinetic Kid This teen has the power to absorb kinetic energy and funnel it through his body, so he's always moving, talking and burning energy. He's a hyper character with a lot of spunk! |

ARCHIE COMICS I'm a big Archie comics fan and I created my own 4 page story featuring Archie Andrews. These are the most complete of all the comic paegs I have developed. I drew it on a large sheet and Chuck Carson inked it. I colored it using PhotoShop3 back in 1995 and I also put the text and sound effects. Cover of comic
